1. Play complex puzzles and games, such as Scrabble or Chess.
2. Learn a foreign language.
3. Study music.
4. Solve math problems without using a calculator.
5. Write letters or poetry.
6. Engage in thought-provoking discussions.
7. Study and memorize scripture.
These are all good! I love Scrabble and it's hard to find someone who will take the time to play with me.
ReplyDeleteWriting and poetry are definitely challenging and can help you polish skills in English AND the imagination.
Number 6 is the hardest one! People rarely want to take the time to engage in true conversation :(
