Disappointed -- Where Did My Commenters Go?

I'm very disappointed with how some of my stuff on my blog just quit working:
Comments from the past 4-5 posts have disappeared.
The comments box quit working.
The Cherished Commenters/Top Commenters quit working.

I have spend hours trying to fix both of these things and have no idea what is going on. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
