Thought of the Day - 7/24/10

My pleasure in the day has returned.  I can't sort through the reasons and come up with the right one, but it had something to do with being included, and sharing, and being a part of a whole.

Every child should have a dog.  You can't pick a better Christmas present to teach a child the true meaning of love.  Try spelling dog backward . . . it spells God.  A dog is always sad when you leave it and happy when you come back-- never asking where you were in between -- just as long as you come home.

Thought of the Day - 7/18/10

I often look out the window and I see an ordinary world.  Ordinary trees, ordinary grass, ordinary blue sky, hardly changing from one year to the next.  Though most never see it, those of us with any sense know that an extraordinary force began all of this.  Sometimes, once in a great while, an ordinary person is allowed to see that extraordinary force.

We can't always understand why God chooses the vessel he chooses.  When He does choose a vessel, we'd better listen to the message.
