2012 was a very tough year for me and my family. Between my health issues, my surgeries, my son's mental health problems, and lack of help and support, blogging took a second seat. Honestly -- though blogging was often on my mind -- I was not able to, physically or emotionally, write the posts and articles needed to keep up with a busy blog. Sadly, cause of my neglect I lost
many most of my readers and blogging friends.
I hope to be up, active, and motivated to keep up with All Things Cherished (as well as my other blogs).
Since we have started a new year, I think it is a great time for a new start.

And may we find

A New Start For Me
My lack of work and lack of a "regular" job doesn't influence my self worth.
My day is full of everyday things like laundry, cleaning, phone calls, computer work, etc. I'm also a Mom to my children . . . I can interact with them, help them with homework, collaborate on what's for dinner, play games with them after chores are done. This may not seem like much to you, but when you have spells that rule the day and things happen around you that you are totally unaware of, this is a BIG bonus to making the day "normal. Right now normal is a new thing for our family.
So, trying to find a normal routine and settling into better health options is a new start for me.
