Sunday Scrappin' - 4/13/08

This week's question:
What's your least favorite project that you've done lately, and why?

My answer:
Cleaning the house, as a whole, is my least favorite project. By the time I finish the house, its time to start over again. Ugh.

Ta Da's:

• I did get the house undecorated for Easter and some party decorations up for Cameron's party today.
• All the decor and extras for the porch were taken out of the garage and put out on the porch.
• The children finished cleaning out all of their toys and even more toys were generously donated.
• The party for Cameron, although small, was a success... despite not having enough money to provide snacks, etc., for the guests.
  

To Do's:

• Re-organize the Christmas decor since the weatherization company that was here rearranged everything without my permission since I didn't get it done this past week.
• I would love to get some scrapbooking done. One page would make me extremely happy.
• Update my tax form so I get it filed on time.
• Medical appointments.
  

I also do this meme at my 365 Days of Christmas blog but since I don't list crafting or scrapping there on a weekly basis I cannot list it as part of the Sunday Scrappin' meme. Each week I try to accomplish, at least, one Christmas chore, craft, etc.

Sunday Scrappin' - 4/6/08

This week's question:
What kind of projects do you do the most often?
My answer:
Scrapbooking is my main creativity and craft. I do lots of kids crafts since I young one's at home.


Ta Da's:

I don't feel like I got much accomplished this past week. My fibromyalgia really kicked my butt this week.

1. The tables, chairs, toys, etc., for outside were taken out of storage, otherwise known as the garage, cleaned and put out on the porch. Whoo hoo... Spring is here!
2. The children cleaned out their toys and many toys were generously donated.

To Do's:

1. Re-organize the Christmas decor since the weatherization company that was here last week rearranged everything without my permission.
2. I want to undecorate for Easter.
3. I want to get my son's birthday presents wrapped since his birthday party is next Sunday.
4. I want to get the toys (see Ta Da's above) and other no-longer-needed items to Goodwill.
5. I would love to get some scrapbooking done. One page would make me happy.

Sunday Scrappin' - My First

I like the idea behind the Sunday Scrappin' blog: a group of people, mainly scrapbookers (but it can be any crafters), who share their Ta Da's (the past week's goals they completed) and their Ta Do's (goals they want to complete in the coming week). I like that there's not a lot of pressure but some accountability; some support and no grumbling.

Question:
How long could you keep on crafting without buying new supplies?

My answer:
Probably for a year if I was creative enough to use up my old supplies. Lol. I have lots of pattern paper, quite a bit of cardstock, as well as my fair share of embellishments. But I am in a creative rut. Sad, but true.

Ta Da's:

I didn't get any scrapping done this past week. There was so much housework to do since the previous several weeks were very chaotic with appointments.

1. Many phone calls back and forth to various agencies have been completed to get services, therapy, testing, etc., for Renee.
2. I got all the Christmas stuff down, packed up, organized, and mostly put away.
3. Some of the Easter decorations have made an appearance. Its about time since Easter is a week from today.

Ta Do's:

1. I hope to get some layouts done this week. I would be happy with 1 or 2 layouts at this point.
2. I also want to get challenges, activities, etc., posted at my scrapbooking forum.
3. I still need to do some Christmas inventory before getting all the boxes stored in the basement.
4. I want to finish the Easter decorating.
