Get a Head Start on Next Year
Yes, this school year is winding down – but your child will be back in the classroom before you know it. Before the school year ends, see if you can get your child’s teacher to answer a few questions, so you can help your child prepare for next year over the summer. Ask these questions:
1. What might be most challenging for my child next year?
2. What skill should my child try to improve over the summer?
3. How much reading, and at what level, should my child attempt over the summer?
Taking time during summer break to prepare for the school year ahead can give your child a head-start on success.
