Amber Alert

Works for Me Wednesday #17

Toothpaste is for more than just brushing your teeth.

1. Remove Crayon Marks
Squirt a small dab of non-gel toothpaste on the wall where the mark is. Rub gently with a soft cloth, then rinse with warm water.

2. Buff a DVD
Get rid of light scratches by squeezing a little non-gel toothpaste onto a cotton ball. Wipe over the DVD from the center out to the edge. Rinse with water and dry with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth.

3. Defog Goggles
Coat the inside of swimming goggles with toothpaste then wipe off. They'll be clear crystal.

4. Whiten Sneakers
Clean rubber soles by rubbing scuff marks with an old toothbrush and non-gel toothpaste.

5. Deodorize Hands
Can't get garlic or onion odor off your hands? Was them with a blob of toothpaste.

Don't forget about spot treating zits! Needs to be regular paste though, the gel doesn't work (please don't ask me how I know this).

What's even more amazing is you can buy cheap toothpaste from the dollar store to use for all of these things instead of spending money on expensive toothpaste.

Thanks, Mub, for the tip.
